He gets out of work on a monday evening. It’s only the beginning of the week and yet it feels like a lot of pressure is being put on his shoulders. He gets out of the car he parked in an underground parking lot. He’s wearing a clean Hugo by Hugo Boss suit, that he paired with a Zara shirt and a striped YSL tie. A rather classic look. Yesterday he was wearing flowers.
He goes for a walk, daydreaming, thinking. Melancholic. And without even noticing he ends up in an abandonned garden. The sun is coming down, drawing beautiful colors in the sky; strong blue, then orange tones.
He’s amused at the view of two swings.
Reminding him of being a child.
Reminding him of being carefree.
Reminding him that perhaps he is growing too fast.
Two swings. He sits in one.
Two swings.
Reminding him that after all he’s alone. Alone observing the beautiful sunset.
But yet he’s not sad. It is just the beginning.
His inner child is telling him to be happy.
He’s a grown man.
He’s wearing a suit. He loves it. He’s confident.
He has found his way. His style. Himself.
He is finding himself.
And once he finds himself, than THE someone will find him.
And the empty swing won’t be empty anymore.
– The story of the lonely gentleman.
