Dear Readers,
I’m extremely excited about today’s post.
Because it features a piece I’ve been dying to get since I first saw it watching a spring summer 14 runway show on my iPad. A Neil Barrett show.
Patience is an interesting concept. It seems I am able to be very patient with some people or some things; waiting in lines, listening to friends… but then there are times when you just can’t wait anymore: seeing someone you miss, counting the days till your holidays… or being able to buy I piece you fell in love with when watching a designer’s show!
If you’ve been following me you’ve probably noticed how fond I am of Neil Barrett’s sweaters and overall aesthetic and style. I had a major crush on the sweater I’m wearing today.
A perfect mix of black and white, pattern, innovating shapes and mixing of fabrics.
It gives a perfectly sporty-chic silhouette. Effortless style.
I paired this amazing piece with dark jeans from Zara.
Here is a first look at the outfit, before going into details of the shoes and eyewear.
I also want to talk to you about a store in my city where I’ve been able to find incredible accessories. It is called “Correspondances” and is located in the heart of Geneva’s old town (check their website and facebook page). Their goal is to introduce brands that aren’t sold anywhere else in the city, and high quality pieces.
I fell for a clean pair of minimalistic – chic – high -end “sneakers” from Common Projects.
They are made entirely out of leather and sewn like traditional shoes. They’re also very versatile thanks to their sharp lines.
Another discovery I made at the store was a pair of clip-on glasses from Han Kjøbenhavn (pronounced “Han from Copenhague). A great brand from Denmark that makes high quality eyewear products amongst other things, with Carl Zeiss lenses. Their price is also really reasonable for the quality they provide.
I also loved their vintage packaging
And here are some more pictures of the outfit, one of my favorites so far.
