I got to attend the Philipp Plein spring summer 15 show in Milan. And it was much more than a usual fashion show. Read all about it below:

Dear Readers,

I have so many pictures to share with you about my experience at the Philipp Plein show, I’ve decided to split this post in 2 parts:

– part 1 will be about the show setting

– part 2 will be about my favorite looks from the collection

As I told you on this previous post, I participated in a contest organized by Philipp Plein. The idea was to post a picture wearing one of their garments for a chance to attend the men’s fashion show for the spring summer 15 collection. And I was the LUCKY WINNER !

Thanks to this outfit and pair of destroyed denim jeans which from now on are my lucky shorts!

The prize included flights, hotel and show attendance. Very very exciting!

The PR Manager organized everything perfectly and I got to Milan right on time and stayed at a very nice design boutique hotel: Hotel Straf. You could’nt ask for a better location; the hotel was litteraly a few steps away from Milan’ Duomo Cathedral.

After strolling around town in the afternoon, getting a “gelato” and passing by the Philipp Plein store,  (outfit post to come) it was finally time to get ready for the big show.

Big occasion = big outfit.

To attend the show I wore for the very first time the most amazing jacket I have in my closet. A red jacket with a black leather studded collar by Saint Laurent.

I paired it with a Saint Laurent v-neck t shirt, Zara jeans and Jimmy Choo studded Loafers, and a The Kooples python print scarf.

I haven’t yet been to that many fashion show in my life, however when arriving at the show’s venue, I immediately knew that it was going to be something out of the ordinary.

The venue was an actual pool !  The setting was perfect, with life guards and giant sharks.

The show then started  when female swimmers walked in to the rythm of Beyoncé’s “Superpower” for a synchronised swimming show.

A soft and artistic intro before the Big Bang

Models then started walking in, in nautical inspired jackets revamped in the Philipp Plein way: studded, python, high-top sneakers and bold colors (my favorite looks in Part 2).

Meanwhile all of a sudden, rapper Theophilus London appeared on the Pool to perform while standing on a jet ski  ! First crazy animation of the night.

Then before the show’s finale, two “action men” came out of behind the PP logo for an amazing jet ski show !

It felt like witnessing a James Bond action scene !

The action show kept on going as all the models came back for the grand finale.

A Big Bang show and a huge round of applause for M. Plein:

But the night was not over yet

When I won the contest to attend the show, I had no idea that I had also won my ticket to the Party of the Year !

Indeed, the venue then transformed into the biggest bar and dancefloor !

People danced all night long thanks to Dj Marcelo Burlon !

Anna Dello Russo came to visit him in the DJ Booth. And then he played “who’s that girl” pointing at her – funny moments !

When you thought it was over, it wasn’t over !

What now looked like the biggest openair club party got even crazier when Theophilus London came back to perform from a crane ! I told you – crazy!

Such an incredible night !

I went back to the hotel wondering if it was all real..

I hope you enjoyed discovering the show from the inside and stay tuned for PART 2 with all my favorite looks from the collection !

InfasHionably yours,
