Fall winter styling makes the news today on INFASHIONITY. How do you like your winter coat? Slightly oversized with a check print? Keep on reading, we might get along well..

Dear Readers,

If there should only be one piece of wardrobe worth investing in every fall winter season, it is a nice overcoat.

Of course it would be hard to avoid all the cool accessories, scarves, hats, gloves… and amazing knit sweaters. However, a nice coat will get you through the whole season and, picked wisely, will also keep you in style, perhaps for several seasons.

I’ve found mine quite easily this season.

My coat by The Kooples follows some of the designer trends for this season. Slightly oversized, in grey shades and with a check / prince of wales pattern.

A very similar model exists by Saint Laurent :

I also like this other model by french label AMI:

For this look, I went the chic way and paired it with a an elegant festive look, thanks to a Diesel vest with leather details, a white D&G shirt and a burgundy bow tie.

I added another touch of burgundy with these beautiful Louis Vuitton derbies

A great tip on how to style your coat is wearing a large scarf wrapped carelessly around your neck.

I am ending this post on a different note, showing you a totally different look also featuring this same coat:

You can see how versatile this coat is. It’s pretty great to see how it can complete a chic look as well as a more urban one.

Which is your favorite by the way?

And what is your favorite overcoat style this season?

Comment and let me know!

InfasHionably yours,
