INFASHIONITY was in London for the city’s own fashion week. After the first part of my report, here is the second part of this journey through british style.
Dear readers,
As I’m gearing up for some new exciting projects and travels, I’m happy to go back to my time in London and share with you other insights of my experience at London Collections men, with a review of the E.Tautz show I got to attend as well as presentation from Chester Barrie. You will also get to discover another look I wore, shot by my friend Fashitect
VOLUME
E.Tautz is originally a classic british tailoring firm created in the 19th century. In 2005 the brand was acquired by designer Patrick Grant and he has started to rejevunate the brand ever since, debuting the first ready-to-wear collection in 2009. Successfuly, since it won the Menswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards in 2010.
The autumn winter 15 collection had many interesting characteristics.
The colour palette had little diversity and could have been named “50 shades of grey”, but sophistication came from prints and patterns, such as check coats.
But what really made the collection stand out was volume. Patrick Grant went for a nonchalant silhouette, styling the models in high-waisted baggy pants and large oversized coats.
Movement was very fluid and relaxed. This style probably won’t be adapted to men who like slim-fit silhouettes, however the idea of being comfortable while still looking stylish in sharply tailored suits makes the collection quite attractive.
one element I particularly enjoyed from the collection was the patterned sweaters:

COLORED SUITS
I also got the chance to attend a presentation from Chester Barrie.
Another classic Savile Row tailor whose latest collections are adding a more contemporary touch. And in the autumn winter 15 colletctions’ case, a colorful touch.
I enjoyed the mix of colors and the color pop coming from ties and pocketsquares. Sophistication also came from accessories such as a collar pins, a very dandy-esque detail.
The atmosphere was light and fun, and the space decorated with illustrations, by James Forchione, know on Instagram @theartista_. Knowing how to sketch is one of my dreams and I loved the idea of the giant sketches.

SHADES OF BLUES AND GREENS
I seemed to be on trend with Chester Barrie as my second London look was colorful.
I played with shades of emerald and turquoise with a sophisticated look thanks to accessories and print trousers.
Strolling around the city in the cold led me to enter the British Museum, an amazing location where a few pictures had to be taken.
