INFASHIONITY had the chance to preview and style outfits from the new H&M Modern Essentials #selectedbydavidbeckham collection.
After sharing with you my experience at the brand’s swiss showroom in Zürich and the street style photoshoot, discover the two outfits I put together in more details.
In this second post about my project with H&M, I wanted to share with you the creative process that went through my mind when it was time to select pieces from the new Modern Essentials collection and create two outfits.
Indeed, I’ve materialized the visions that I had in my head in two moodboards, one for each look.
For one part, the collection made me think of summery outfits, the kinds to wear on the french or italian Riviera. Indeed there were a lot of simple and chic spring essentials, such as a crisp white shirt, a grey or soft pink sweater, and a navy ensemble. As I always like to add a little sophistiation to my looks, I picked the square-patterned blue trousers, which are very well-cut, in a slim-fit style.
I thought the look worked nicely with pure white sneakers to keep it casual but classy.
LONDON STREET VIBE
There was definitely also an urban vibe in the collection, thanks to strong pieces such as a black linen bomber jacket, a denim jacket, t shirt basics, and a pink “London” logo-ed t shirt, which I went for. I paired it with the bomber jacket, rolled up black jeans and a pair of brogues with a big sole. I had a british punk inspired vibe in mind.
I hope you enjoyed discovering the two looks in full !
I could win a few gifts to share with you, as well as visibility in H&M biggest stores in Switzerland ! So I’m counting on you !
