The new autumn winter collection by fashion giant H&M, which translates the latest trends to large audiences, is all about loose volumes, relaxed but controlled silhouettes.
INFASHIONITY got to pick, style, and shoot a selection of looks that you will be able to discover in two exclusive posts.
Time to fill your closet up with coats and sweaters, summer is over.
While we are all going to miss the easiness of slipping into shorts and flip flops, trips to sunny beaches and late sunsets, fall is in my opinion definitely a more exciting time in terms of fashion, as you can start layering and playing with more options.
Visiting the H&M swiss showroom in Zürich to pick up some looks, I was pleasantly suprised. For autumn winter 2015, H&M sees men wearing looser garments, for a relaxed yet “tailored” silhouette. Which makes the pieces comfortable and stylish at the same time. A welcome and nice change from skinny jeans, you’ll notice how your attitude and your walk vary when wearing these wider trousers and long overcoats. As if we were in fact able to bring some of summer’s coolness to autumn winter.
I’m very excited to share with these pictures with you, as they are my first set of (self-shot) pictures shot with a brand new 85mm lens on my Canon camera. You may have already previewed some of the looks on my Instragram (@infashionity__) or Snapchat (infashionity) accounts..
Here are the first three looks:
Free of movement. Minimal styling. Monochromatic.
I was easily able to adapt the looks to my personal style. I added a street touch thanks to the coveted Stan Smith Mid sneakers by Adidas and a bit of edginess with these mirrored lens Dior Homme “Black Tie” sunglasses.
The following outfit puts the focus on a very nice sea green /petrol blue jacket. A nice tone that matches well with shades of grey.
Grey overcoat, wool trousers, hat, t shirt, mohair sweater –
all H&M Autumn Winter 15, available in stores now
Eyewear: Dior Homme “Black Tie” sunglasses
Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smith Mid
Watch: Piaget Altiplano
I hope you enjoyed these first looks. In the second post I will share another set of pictures of my favorite look from the collection.
Let me know what are your favorite pieces so far!
