Let Loose.
In the second part of this editorial dedicated to H&M’s new autumn winter 2015 collection, INFASHIONITY presents one of the brand’s strongest looks.
Dear readers,
Trends come and go season after season. We are sometimes happy to see some of them go away, but also occasionaly enjoy seeing a (good) trend stay around for a bit longer.
When I noticed that camel, and especially camel coats were still strong pieces for this winter I was quite pleased. Indeed, last year I enjoyed styling my camel coat for winter looks.
As mentioned in the first part of this editorial, the new H&M collection is all about loose silhouettes, with long overcoats and modernized baggy pants, wide but still adjusted at the ankles. I am all about monochromatic looks and for this new look I played with a camel-cream color palette.
Camel resonates in fall with the changing colors of the trees, and brings a bit of warmth in winter when our skin tone gets really pale.
The camel overcoat is very thin, therefore perfectly complements the thickness of the sweater. Light and warm at the same time, the comfort that comes with wearing baggy trousers once again freed my movements while shooting.
I was lucky to have a friend helping me out with this shoot, which made this sense freedom even stronger.
I hope you feel the nostalgic, end-of-summer-sunset vibe while looking at the spread below.
